You've got a PhD, of course they'll find a use for you!
And you don't owe me anything, all I did was overhear some useful info. But if you want, when you find a job, you can buy me a celebratory coffee -- my application was accepted, and you're texting Haven's newest nurse :)
Yeah, that definitely came across as if you wanted to chop a few of my limbs off.
[ Which... Peter wouldn't agree to, but he has been kinda curious about if he'd regenerate them. Not curious enough to actually test it, though. He's already died too many times for his liking. ]
But sure, the regeneration still works. What were you curious about?
[ This would have been funnier to Mohinder a few months ago, because haha of course he would never do a thing like that to his good buddy Peter. Never in a million years! Perish the thought, because what a crazy thought it is.
Mohinder feels vaguely queasy now, but he soldiers on. ]
I wouldn't ask at all, except that I don't know how many other people here can lay claim to the medical applications your blood might have.
[ And if Peter doesn't know about those, Mohinder is assuming he would probably want to. ]
To be brief, Claire Bennet's blood works as a sort of panacea for anything the ability itself can heal. I wasn't sure if you were aware of that aspect of it. Presuming you acquired the ability from her, I wanted to see if yours could do the same.
[ Grammar temporarily goes right out the window in Peter's shock.
He's guessing that's something Claire didn't know in his timeline. But Mohinder's further along from their timeline, and she would have discovered a few things. Including, apparently, a cure all. The ramifications of that are astonishing. ]
Woah
Yeah, I mean, I don't know if mine would do the same. Since it's just a copy. But if there's a chance my blood can heal people, you have can as much as you need
I suppose the problem might be that if word gets out, people might want more than you're willing or able to spare. But it's your blood and you can do as you see fit with it.
It's best not to get ahead of ourselves anyway, in case it doesn't have the same properties. But we can test it once I've got the supplies to collect a bit. I'd only need a vial.
[ How exactly Mohinder plans to do that is probably going to make Peter yell at him, but at least he's not going to be hurting anyone but himself this time. ]
Okay, but if your method of testing is "haha let's injure myself and then shoot myself up with Peter's blood", at least try to keep it to a really small injury? A cut less than an inch long, please?
I don't want to see you in the ER on my first day at Haven. I'm told I have a really effective Disappointed Nurse voice, don't make me use it on you.
Because of the Disappointed Nurse Voice? I can brave it if I have to. You should be there.
There's a problem I hadn't thought of, though. I don't know your blood type. It's not something I usually have to account for, so it hadn't occurred to me earlier.

There's actually something I'm curious about, if you wouldn't mind helping me test it. You can still regenerate, right?
[ A pause, of about five seconds, as he rereads that, and then the typing bubble pops hastily back up again. ]
That is IN NO WAY as ominous as it sounds, I swear. Really.

It'll have to be at least two cuts, because scientific results are useless if you can't replicate them. Probably three for good measure.
Don't you want to be on hand to see for yourself?

If you're offering, though, I'd be happy to!
